This week, Charlie makes a love connection with store manager Bill (Corey Hawkins). When Bill fires his friend Kendall (Sam Richardson) to encourage him to take a chance at a screenwriting career, Kendall tries to enact the heist from his last script.
Teaming up with a killer called Juice (James Ransone), Sam tries to make off with the store’s Black Friday takings, but when he double-crosses his partner in crime, things take a turn for the worse and Charlie’s life is put on the line.
This episode was again directed by Adam Arkin. The writer was Taofik Kolade.
