This week, we stick with MacGyver as he gets recruited by Pete Thornton (Dana Elcar) to travel to a cruise liner where a series of bombs pose a threat to the crew and passengers and have already killed the captain. Joined by his old friend Charlie (Steven Williams), MacGyver must work with acting captain Carole Tanner (Elen Bry) to defuse the devices, with remote assistance from specialist Michael Donahue (Michael Cavanaugh).
