Magnum, PI - Skin Deep - Episode 21

Skin Deep – Magnum, PI – The Cosy Crime Classics Podcast – Episode 21

Episode 21 of the Cosy Crime Classics Podcast sees us meet Thomas Magnum as he investigates when an actress appears to end her own life, as we take a look at Skin Deep, from Season 1 of Magnum, PI. In this episode, Gerry and Iain discuss gun safety.

This week, Magnum is asked to investigate the apparent suicide of an actress called Erin Wolfe (Cathie Shirriff) by her estranged partner, David Norman (Ian McShane), a disreputable film producer. After tracking the supposed victim to a remote cove, can Magnum stave off his Vietnam flashbacks long enough to save her from her pursuer, or will an ever-escalating cover-up claim another victim?

This episode was directed by Lawrence Doheny. The writer was a familiar face to fans of The Leap Home, Donald P. Bellisario.
