This week, Starsky & Hutch get involved in the world of pro wrestling when a concessions operator, Mac Johnson (Bob Wilkie) dies suspiciously, followed by a wrestler’s manager (Wynn Irwin) and revelations that an earlier accident may not been what it seemed. Arena manager Ellen Forbes (Barbara Babcock) and her colleague Carl (James Luisi) plead ignorance, while wrestlers Tessie (Mary Jo Catlett) and Eddie (Dennis Burkley) remain a constant presence as the detectives look to expose the perpetrators before they suffer an accident of their own.
This episode was directed by Don Weis. The writer was Edward J. Lakso.
