As Olympia looks to win the race for a partnership against Julian, she recruits the CEO of Tranquil Pines retirement home, Blake Ellison (Jesse Bush), as a client and immediately takes on the defence of a wrongful death claim by the family of a deceased resident. Tasking Madeline and Sarah to go undercover at the home, they seek to prove the old man died of causes unrelated to his inadequate care.
At Tranquil Pines they meet Lucille (Joanna Cassidy) whose relationship with the deceased resident holds the key to solving the mystery of his death. Meanwhile, Madeline alienates Sarah when she presents Billy with an opportunity to help old friend Autry (Hal WIlliams) in a housing case.
This episode was directed by Jennifer Lynch. The writers were Nicki Renna and Lizzie Perrin.
