Madeline’s quest leads to difficulties with her colleagues as she draws on personal experience to help a relapsed addict, Katya (Andra Nechita) in her claim against a prison where she was abused. When her personal issues lead Olympia and Madeline to consider alternative victims to base the case around, both Tiffany (Monique Burias Shi) and Gabrielle (Yuli Zorrilla) refuse to help.
Realising something is amiss, Madeline befriends Katya’s boss Sonia (Lynn Adrianna Freedman) and together with Billy and Sarah, discover that the relapse was induced by prison staff, including the new Warden, Nicola Caruso (Kerry Cahill), but can they prove it. Meanwhile, Sarah’s love life perks up when she meets IT nerd Kira (Piper Curda) at work.
